V intage Edison Round tungsten filament bulb both in E27 and B22 caps set the standard for brighter, whiter incandescent light a century ago. This reproduction recalls the historic round bulb design, with circular filaments surrounding a central pillar. With its hand-blown style and warm amber glow, an Edison light bulb exudes a rustic charm like no other light bulb.
Whilst we do stock 110Volt E26 components for those countries that use that standard, not all shapes are available. It is however feasible to install 240V globe into 110V wiring, it will light up about half as bright so a 60Watt and will appear as bright as a 30Watt globe. It seems also that E26 E27 are roughly interchangeable under these circumstances, ie, a 240W E27 lightbulb will screw into an existing E26 fitting. Where possible though an E27 fitting can be used instead.
This design is a version of the shape made a standard by the lighting industry over many years. It has a unique glass point where the glass has been blown and the dimple remains.
