This fitting is suitable for mounting on a ceiling or wall. A locking mechanism ensures the body cannot be unscrewed accidentally when changing the bulb. Release to Re-wire

To re-wire you will need to release the anti-rotation lock by push down the raised tab with a screw driver at the base of the inside of the E27 threaded component.
