Product Description

E40 White porcelain pendant with an optional white cord grip ceiling rose. This 240V Edison screw GES or E40 lampholder has 2-core braided cloth cable of your color choice and length. This is a very large lamp holder and would be suited to decorative feature bare bulb lighting where there is a lot of ceiling space to fill. This is also a product that suits E40  oversize globes.

Comes assembled and complete with optional globe and porcelain ceiling rose cord holder if required. The complete unit is a double insulated device making it as safe to use where no earth is possible and also a section that once assembled is very difficult to unscrew. The threaded section is porcelain and the connector insulator and body insulator are steel and ceramic. The active terminal is wired to the center pin so that the thread of the bulb will not be powered if touched inadvertently.

Ceiling rose size and style

For most applications any size ceiling rose will work to enable correct installation. A small rose can be used for new installation to plaster board or timber ceilings. Larger roses can be used to cover existing fixing damage to ceiling.

The authentic industrial nature of this lamp holder fitting combines with the Edison Style light bulb to give a candle light type color with a traditional look, suited to warehouse type apartment living.
