Product Description

Long tube horizontal cage pendant with twin cable adjustable support. The Edison screw Long tube horizontal cage pendant has two 3-core earthed braided cloth cable of your color choice. Only one of these cables is live connection to mains, the other is matching to support one end. The non live end it also the end that allows bulb replacement. The cage component is solid brass hand assembled using brass nut and rod construction. The cables can be set to length when installing and can be adjusted individually to length to allow it to be set level even when attached to a sloped ceiling. When ordering please allow enough cable to match the longest length.

This fitting comes in a range of brass colors, Antique brass, Bronze plated brass, New brass, or nickel plated brass. Cages can be a selection from Bronze plated, new brass, or nickel plated.

The complete unit is an earthed device making it as safe as possible and also includes ES Edison type lamp holders that once assembled is very difficult to unscrew. This means the unit will not come unscrewed whilst changing bulbs. The threaded section is plastic and the connector insulator is ceramic and the active terminal is hidden in such a way that it is extremely hard to accidentally touch when changing the bulb. With this fitting assembled it is possible to change the bulb by removing the cage. The cage is detachable when the non wired wingnut is removed. Clear instructions are included in an illustrated document, also this document is listed under “documents” tab for this product. Always remember to make sure lamp is switched off when changing bulb.

The industrial nature of this fitting combines with the Edison Style light bulb to give a candle light type color with a traditional look, suited to warehouse type apartment living. This cage should be used with 290mm tube bulbs.
