Dimmable Low Voltage GLS LED Commercial Festoon Kit 50cm spacing. A robust string light, with heavy duty cable and E27 lamp holders in one continuous length.  Because you are able to order the exact length required they are the ideal product for permanent installation in commercial or domestic settings.  For public safety by law or insurance purposes, these party lights are the best solution due to being low voltage.

50 cm spacing is the most common and provides adequate lighting for most outdoor verandah, deck or beer garden settings.  In addition, where the strings lights are situated in a public area we suggest installing about 1.0 metre above pedestrian traffic to meet safety requirements.

Maximum length

Maximum length as one continuous run with one driver of these festoon globes is 70 meters.

Supplied with polycarbonate 1.5W 85lm LED GLS bulbs in a warm clear 2200K colour. Create that old fashioned carnival style festoon look for parties, weddings and events. The globes are 60mm in diameter and are sealed to IP44 to prevent water penetrating into the bulb. Because they are powered by a high quality LED driver, the bulb life is improved considerably.

Dimmable Drivers and kits

Choose from a plug-in solution or as an electrician installable kit.
The plugin option is pre-wired and is ready to go.
The installable kit comes with all hardware loose and allows your electrician to trim the cables to exact lengths as a hardwired solution. Subsequently providing a method of installation where you would hardwire to a switch and dimmer.

This festoon comes with a 1-10V dimmable driver that is rated IP67 for out door use. We also include a 1-10V dimming switch, but this needs to be wired to a convenient location on a Clipsal or HMP wall plate.  Note that the plug-in solution is not dimmable by default, but includes the dimmer switch that requires hardwiring.

Choose an optional low voltage tail (up to 10 meters) to safely increase the distance from the power source to the first lamp. This is recommended rather than using a mains connected extension lead to the driver. The mains powered driver is available in your country plug compatible versions as 240 Volt or 120 Volt.
