Polished Brass Art Deco Twin LED Tube Light is a medium to high lumen output polished brass decorative task light. This light replicates a 1920’s German fluorescent tube light with the benefit of using current LED technology. The polished brass Art Deco inspired twin LED tube light is the perfect solution for providing task lighting in hospitality, commercial or domestic settings.  The timeless design of this Polished Brass Art Deco light is perfectly suited to both modern and heritage interiors spaces.

The polished brass surface of this fitting is hand finished and not treated with any clear coat or anodizing. The brass will tarnish and will require polishing with Brasso®.  Over time we assume the surface will acquire a patina from subsequent polishing.

LED strip tubes

We create an LED tube from 4 segments each containing one LED strip adhered to aluminium channel. These are then covered with clear or translucent poly carbonate and glued together to form a tube with similar proportions to a traditional florescent tube. Using LED gives us the ability to create a lamp with a range of options for dimming and colour temperature. Dimming is compatible across a wide range of systems. Normal production LED strip lights do not have replacement LED components but due to the build of this light we are able to supply replacement tube components if one should fail during the warranty period. At times a driver may fail and this is also a replaceable component. We feel that making components available as spare parts makes this brass light a future proof solution giving many years of service.

Features

This light is created in our workshop by hand with solid brass sheets folded to create a box that contains the low voltage driver and the pendant support systems. Brass sheet is also used to house the special LED tube mount blocks that are currently 3D printed in-house. The light can be suspended by a single solid brass tube of varied lengths available when ordering. The ceiling rose/canopy supplied is a cast polished brass. We supply with 5 cables to the ceiling for mains and dimming as bar mounted option.

Brass bar suspension can be selected up to 1500mm but this will require a location without air movement as it would sway around at this length. We can also supply to be suspended by two chain points if required. Chain not supplied but we do stock some chain options. We would recommend brass chain when hanging this fitting. If you wish to chain this fitting you may need to place an order for chain hook ceiling roses. There is also an option to supply 1500mm long with two hook points. This will allow for two stabilizing wires or chains to be used at either end of the light.

Cable included is black plastic at a length of 1.8 meters, Dimming cable not supplied.

Shatterproof

Because this system uses a poly carbonate cover over LED strip and no glass, this light fitting qualifies as shatterproof for the purpose of food production.

Dimming

TRIAC Dimming is compatible with most mains-connected trailing or leading edge dimmers. 1-10V dimming can be used with any 1-10V dimmer or other systems such as DALI. You can also choose to have this supplied with no driver and supply your own to supply 24 volt constant voltage to suit your control system.

Push button switching & dimming

The DAP-04-S01DM module can accommodate a single momentary push button to control dimming and mains – side switching functions. Up to 20 light fittings can be controlled with one push button.

DALI

DALI control is possible with the addition of a DALI to PWM Converter ‘Mean Well DAP-04-S01DM’.

USA/Canada

We can supply a 120 volt version of this fitting for use in the USA and Canada. We will include a UL Listed driver for orders shipping to these countries.
