450mm Vintage green enamel domed factory shade with solid Brass E27 Lampholder or original style Ceramic E40 Lampholder. This old world enameled factory shade is an original antique in green enamel exterior with white interior shows of the warm color of the Edison bulb. Originally made in England by Benjamin Electric Company labelled Crysteel Benjamin we only have limited stocks. These are all in very good original condition with a very high gloss surviving. Benjamin Electric Company started in 1898 in Chicago USA but later set up Benjamin Electric, Ltd. London. Two of the most noticeable accomplishments were the “Benjamin” Flood Lighting system in Westminster Abbey for the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation in 1953.

The plated solid brass lampholder E27 fitting , 24O V, 4A with solid brass body, ceramic terminal insert are best quality and provide for a wide range of suitable E27 Edison globes. Top cast component section is designed to accept a cable and/or chain.

Extra length tube above the E27 lampholder ensures that the bulb holder protrudes down through the shade allowing any bulb size to be used.

They are in very good condition with some minor scuffs in the enamel and some spot marks of grime on the inside.

Comes as a complete industrial style pendant including ceiling plate and chain to hold as it will not hang from the electrical cable. We supply chain to match the cast component and overall weight in galvanised or rusty surface.
