The E Leitz Wetzlar Focomat was a highly engineered photo enlarger introduced around 1934 and was considered to be of the finest ever made. These precision machined metal enlargers ensured that your negative was in perfect alignment every time would be prohibitively expensive to manufacture today due to the materials used and high level of production quality.
This one of a kind pendant uses the head of the Focomat and we have introduced a custom fabricated crackle black powder-coated steel club and round cage that has been sandwiched between each half, creating a cylindrical capsule to encase the globe. We have fitted a glass lens and vintage photography greeblies which help to cast light in various directions.
The original components merge seamlessly with the newly fabricated parts, creating a centerpiece pendant that will be a talking point wherever it finally resides. This is a one off item from Little Anvil.
