This website lists the part of our range that is built and stocked for 120V, with UL-listed sockets and US wiring. It is not everything we make.

Our Australian website, edisonlightglobes.com.au, carries the original and much larger range — well over a thousand items. It is the same company, the same workshop in Melbourne, and every order ships from here regardless of which website you order from.

Ordering from the Australian website for North America

Most of our light fittings can be built for 120V. When ordering from the Australian website you must select the 120V option in the product options before adding to cart. Look for an option called “Choose Country Voltage and hardware option”, “Choose Country Voltage” or “Choose your Voltage”, and choose the E26 / 120V version. That includes UL-listed sockets, US wiring and a J-Box connection canopy instead of an Australian ceiling rose. Bulbs can be chosen in 120V as well.

If that option is not selected, the 230V E27 version will be supplied, which is not suitable for use in the USA or Canada.

Prices on the Australian website are shown in Australian dollars and include Australian GST. GST is not charged on goods exported from Australia, so the amount you pay will differ from the listed figure. Import duty and any local taxes are separate — see our USA shipping and duties page.

What we cannot supply for North America

Some of our Australian range is built to Australian wiring standards and cannot be used in the USA or Canada:

• Wall switches, power points, dimmers and plug tops — Australian 3-pin patterns and 230V ratings. Not interchangeable with US devices.
• Ceiling roses — the Australian ceiling fitting. US installations use a J-Box canopy, which is what we supply on 120V fittings.
• 230V globes and bulbs — use our 120V bulbs instead.

A small number of individual products are also unavailable outside Australia. If something you want will not add to cart, ask us and we will tell you whether it can be built for 120V.
