Plumbing Pipe Billiard table light with fixed shades. This light fitting can be used to light up a range of billiard table sizes or large dining table, bar or just as a ceiling light feature. Solid Brass ES sockets are attached to this fitting. This Plumbing Pipe Billiard table light with fixed shades features 3  steel shades that are 12 inches in diameter hard fixed so that they do not require a fitter. We make up a custom bend pipe section for outer lights. This is an industrial plumbing pipe design based on original farm made fittings from the 30’s we can see this being used over bars and tables. Secures to the ceiling via a single steel pipe and cast steel canopy which is also the wiring point. This light fitting weighs around 13 lbs so a extra secure mount may be required for the ceiling J-box.

Options

Can be ordered in Galvanized, Rusted, Raw steel oil rubbed or Flat Black. The rust finish may continue to age slightly but a coating of “Penatrol” will seal in a darker rustic finish. We supply with a 4 inch J-box cover in the same material and color of the selected pipe hardware. UL listed components are used but the light fitting itself is not UL listed.

Installation

This billiard table light is packed and shipped as separated components. Local and international shipping requires a certain packing girth and some items require differing methods of packaging.  All shades are packed detached as is any ceiling plate or single pendant upright extension component. Your electrician may only require reference to the image listed online to complete the installation. Shades should only be fixed in place once the light is fully installed.

This light should be hung around 32 inches above the table surface for best lighting for pool, snooker or billiards. Shaded metal shades will be a better choice for this application since player eye glare will be reduced. For larger tables two lights can be used either end to end or side by side across the table. Where used over an island bench or long dining table we provide a full choice of lamp shades for decorative flexibility. Bulbs are not included and can be ordered separately depending on the lumen output and bulb shape required as vintage filament or LED filament.
