Solid polished brass dome light shade.

This old world shade is hand crafted solid brass with a polished brass finish. The hand finished interior and reflector shows off the warm colour of the Edison bulb in either vintage filament or LED. This product is a replacement shade and therefore does not include the brass socket or fitter hardware.

Requires a 2 1/4 inch fitter.

The polished finish is not clear coated with a protective laquer and so the finish will tarnish over time. To keep a shine this shade will need an occasional polish with Brasso or similar metal polish. Alternativly you can leave the surface to tarnish evenly to an antique brass color.
